How do I use it?
Press SOS in your Chrome toolbar, or Alt Shift H. Bowie hops to what broke and asks what should have happened. Answer with a press, or type or say it your way.
What does Bowie try?
One quick thing that fits the failure. A second press on the same button, a check that the site still answers, or a tip such as signing in again. Bowie never presses a button that pays, orders or books. When the quick thing does not fix it, Bowie tells you and packs the report.
Where does the report go?
To the support address found on that page, in an email your own mail app opens with the write-up already in it. The PDF lands in your downloads, ready to attach. When the site has a contact form instead, Bowie opens it, writes the report in and attaches the PDF. Their Send button is yours to press.
What if sending does not work?
The write-up is plain text, so it pastes anywhere. Press Copy it, paste it into their chat or their form, and add the PDF from your downloads. Download alone gives you the PDF to send any way you like.
Can I show them the spot?
Yes. Press Draw on the page and mark it with the highlighter. Bowie already loops the error it found, and your marks go into the picture with it.
Which pages does it work on?
Any regular web page in Chrome on a computer. Chrome keeps extensions off its own settings pages and the Web Store, and SOS stays out of incognito windows.
How do I turn off the earlier screens?
Open the SOS options from the Extensions menu in Chrome and switch them off. Bowie still comes out wherever you call.
Want to practice?
This practice page has a Save button that fails every time. Install SOS, press Save there, then send Bowie out.
